1983
The beginning
Noureddine Kharrat founds SKCMM in Sfax with a clear vision — build metal structures that last. The workshop starts small, but the ambition is large.
1993
Going further
The company grows steadily across Tunisia. The workshop expands to 1,500 m². International contracts follow.
2010
Continuity
Mazen Kharrat takes the lead, modernizing operations while preserving the original commitment to quality and precision in every project.

Behind the steel
At SKCMM, the team was not assembled — it was grown. Over more than three decades, the people who make up this company have worked side by side, through projects large and small, building not just structures but something rarer: a shared craft.
Many of our workers have been here since the early years. They came in as apprentices, learned the trade from the ground up, and never left. They watched Noureddine Kharrat build this company with his own hands, and today they stand beside his son Mazen, carrying that same standard forward. That continuity is not accidental — it is the result of a culture where knowledge is passed down through gestures, instincts, and an eye for detail that only comes from years in front of a flame.
When a young worker joins SKCMM, he is not just joining a company. He is stepping into a lineage. And we treat our team the way a family treats its own — with respect, with loyalty, and with the understanding that the strength of what we build outside these walls begins with the strength of what we build within them.
Our workshop
Where it all comes to life
Our 1,500 m² facility in Sfax — currently undergoing expansion — is the beating heart of everything we build. Equipped over more than 30 years of continuous investment, our workshop has grown alongside the company itself, accumulating the machines, tools, and infrastructure needed to take on projects of any scale and complexity. From the first cut to the final finish, every stage of production happens in-house.
Our team of 15 specialists handles design, fabrication, welding, and assembly under one roof — giving us full control over quality, timing, and precision at every step. Whether the project calls for a custom spiral staircase or a full industrial steel framework spanning thousands of square metres, our facility is built to deliver. Three decades of collecting the right equipment means we are never limited by what we have. We are only driven by what you need.
